Coffee Talk: Wendy Williams to Star in Broadway’s ‘Chicago’

• Wendy Williams is heading to Broadway! The TV queen will play Matron “Mama” Morton in the Tony award-winning musical Chicago. Williams’ limited run begins June 25 and will last seven weeks. The former radio personality is no stranger to dancing. She appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2011, but was kicked off soon after the show began. [Hollywood Reporter]

• Rihanna’s causing a stir with her dedicated fans. The pop-princess canceled another show on her Diamond’s World Tour. She pulled the plug on last night’s performance in Houston due to an undisclosed illness. She’s set to perform tonight in Dallas. Rihanna canceled two concerts last month because she was sick. • Tamar Braxton says her sister Toni insists she wear flats during her pregnancy. “She has tried to get me flats. I refuse. I’m like, ‘No,'” said Braxton. The first-time mother is keeping the sex of her baby a secret until the end of the summer. As for her nursery, she’s yet to begin decorating it. “I am an over-the-top person, so my baby’s nursery will be over-the-top too,” said Braxton. “But we are moving so we haven’t started yet.” [People]

• Kim Zolciak filed legal papers to dismiss a lawsuit against her filed by Kandi Burruss. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star claims Burruss was properly paid for the song she wrote, “Tardy for the Party.” In fact, she was allegedly paid $6,000 since its release. [TMZ]
