See why we’re having blueberry muffins with our brew:
• Wendy Williams and husband, manager Kevin Hunter have launched their very own production company, Wendy Williams Productions. The company will produce reality TV, game shows and talks show for cable and broadcast channels. Williams hired Lisa Knapp to be her senior VP. “This is a dream come true,” said Williams in a statement. “Kevin and I have been kicking around so many ideas and are excited to be able to now bring them to life with our own production shingle. As anyone who watches my show knows, I am a huge fan of all reality and game shows, and I know a thing or two about talk.” [Hollywood Reporter]

• Black Women in Hollywood honoree Quvenzhané Wallis appeared at Monday’s Oscar nominee luncheon with another one of her famous puppy purses. • Some patriotic folks aren’t too pleased with the way Alicia Keys delivered the National Anthem at Sunday’s Super Bowl. In fact, one vocal critic called her disrespectful because she was sitting. Keys publicist responded to the comment saying, “Alicia is a proud American and was honored to perform at the event. Her slow version of the Star-Spangled Banner was her own arrangement, accompanying herself on the piano, adding ‘living in the home of the brave’ at the end of the song. It’s silly to see how that was being disrespectful.” [Perez Hilton]
