Coffee Talk: WE TV Launches ‘SWV Reunited: In Between’ Digital Series

WE tv has launched new digital series In-Between the online only series that will bridge the gap between TV show seasons. SWV Reunited is first up in the line up of shows to get the In between treatment. Six episodes of SWV Reunited: In Between will air starting July 3 on WEtv.com in preparation for the season two debut August 14. [HollywoodReporter]

Jada Pinkett Smith’s new drama Gotham is set to officially debut at this year’s Comic Con International. Jada Pinkett Smith takes on the role of Fish Mooney in the comic series that premieres this fall. Gotham will be screened during a three-hour presentation at the event July 26. [LATimes]

Tupac’s murder is set to be examined in a new National Geographic documentary. A portion of the upcoming three-night six-hour documentary The 90’s: The Last Great Decade?  delves into the circumstances surrounding his death and frustration with the unsolved case with commentary from Arsenio Hall and Gobi Rahimi, a director who was with Shakur the night of his death. The documentary, covering the biggest events from the 90’s airs from July 6 to July 8 at 9 p.m. EST. [Rollingstone]

Larenz Tate stars in new BET movie Gun Hill. The story follows identical twins, Trane, a cop and Bird, a convict.
