See what we’re chatting about over coffee:

  • Queen Latifah is heading back to television! She’s gearing up to take on a new daytime talk show slated for 2013. Her own production company, Flavor Unit, in conjunction with Will and Jada’s Overbrook Entertainment and Dr. Oz will work together on the project. This is Latifah’s second hosting gig — she previously had her own talk show in 1999. [Hollywood Reporter]

  • Are Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle planning a joint comedy tour? It’s possible! According to one comedy blog, the two are prepping for a joint show at the moment. Chris Rock tweeted, “Could happen…” Would you go see these two? [EURweb]

  • Rashida Jones has landed a role in “Decoding Annie Parker” about a geneticist who finds a gene linked to breast cancer. She will play Kim, a friend who helps the main character perform research. [Hollywood Reporter]

  • Thandie Newton is rather upset that Vogue magazine won’t put her on a cover — or many Black people for that matter. “They [Vogue] don’t feel the need to represent because it doesn’t make any sense to them. It’s just baffling to me, but as usual America will dictate the ways things go, and a magazine like Vogue will just follow America,” she says. [Bossip]
