Here’s something to sweeten up your morning latte:
•First Lady Michelle Obama brought a special Easter surprise to military families at the Fisher House at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda. •R&B diva Beyonce takes center stage yet again as the face of H&M’s upcoming summer line. “Bow Down” Bey is set to be featured in both print and television ads for the collection and, as an added bonus, her new song “Standing On The Sun” will be played during televised ads. Both the new song and H&M’s collection will drop this May. [H&M]
• R&B sensation Usher and producer Jermaine Dupri have reunited for Usher’s next album. Although no stranger to concocting good music together, Dupri surprisingly played no part on Usher’s last album, Looking 4 Myself, so it should be interesting to see what they come up with together on the new LP. Usher has big plans for the album and tells The FADER, “it’s gonna be frickin’ out of here. Space and sky is what it will be. If you look up, it’s everything you could imagine.” [Rap-Up]
• Robin Thicke just released a video for his new single, “Blurred Lines.” The video, which features T.I. and Pharrell, brings a playful flair to the song, lifted off of his upcoming sixth studio album. The R&B crooner told Vibe, “I have about 40 songs for the album.” “Blurred Lines” will be available on iTunes on March 26. Check out the video below and tell us what you think. [Vibe, Billboard]
