Mariah Carey Sets Record Straight on ‘Infinity’

Ever since Mariah Carey released her new single “Infinity,” people can’t help but assume the lyrics reference her ex-husband Nick Cannon and her current love life. But Carey says that couldn’t be further from the truth.

“I don’t feel like it’s my personal life. It’s written for all the women, or men, or whoever’s gone through any type of relationship,” she said. “I’m looking at it as the mantra of ‘Infinity’ is love yourself… loving yourself first to infinity. Then you can love anybody or anything else – your career, your kids, your life.” [Access Hollywood]

Jesse Williams Defends Baltimore Protesters on Twitter

In a series of Tweets, actor Jesse Williams set the record straight on the protests in Baltimore, which many observers are calling riotous and violent.

“What are the critical elements that constitute a “riot” and when do riots offend you?” he wrote. “1 group can burn & loot when a team scores less points than another but when paid public servants kill citizens, we gotta be BaggerVance?”

“There is nothing “black” about rioting. How do you think we got all this land?” he added. “Police & policies have been rioting on our bodies; destroying people & property every single day of your lives. But here you come. So Exactly What Kind Of Violence Don’t You Like?”
