Here’s what we’re talking about over our peppermint teas:

Malia Obama, like many other teens, attended Chicago’s Lollapalooza music festival this weekend. The eldest Presidential daughter enjoyed the Chance the Rapper show with three friends and two plain-clothed secret service men. Although she wasn’t able to take a selfie with the other festival-goers, Malia did get the chance to snap one with a friend. A Twitter frenzy ensued as concertgoers noticed the first daughter. People were trying to snap secret shots while others were commenting on her adorable sunflower matching separates. [TheGrio]

Cedric the Entertainer’s Soul Man will return for a fourth season on TV Land. The Hot in Cleveland spinoff will air in 2015 and rejoin a lineup of TV Land’s original scripted comedies. [HollywoodReporter]

Despite the rumor mill, Beyonce and Jay Z still brought home the bacon with their collaborative “On The Run tour.” Sales have been through the roof during their 19-show-concert-series, grossing in over $100 million in ticket sales. [Billboard]

TV One’s variety show Verses and Flow returns Saturday, August 16. Hosted by Laz Alonso, the NAACP Image Award-nominated series will feature performances by Maxwell, K. Michelle, Joe, Ruben Studdards, Leela James, Alice Smith, Mali Music and more.
