Here’s what we’ve got brewing today:
  • LeBron James admitted it wasn’t a good idea to have an hour-long special on his decision to play for Miami. “If I had a do-over, I’d probably do it a little differently…” he said. • Deion Sanders’ wife, Pilar, is starting drama on the taping of “Football Wives.” TMZ is reporting that she wouldn’t let any of the production staff use the toilets in her house… smh really? Although, it’s easy to imagine her being so over-the-top. Moving on… [TMZ]
  • The stars came out this Halloween in all sorts of costumes. Niecy Nash and her fiance, Jay Tucker, had a pirate theme couple’s outfit, while Sherri Shepherd and her guest wore something spooky. Check out their cute outfits… [YBF]
  • R.Kelly is making waves this morning. He claims Jay-Z was not his original choice for his “Best of Both Worlds” album, Tupac was. He says the two planned to do the album before his death. Would Tupac have been a better fit? [Hip-Hop Wired]
  • Now that Halloween is over, Mariah Carey is running straight for Christmas — she’s releasing a yummy cookie recipe. You can bake while you listen to her new CD, “Merry Christmas II You,” out tomorrow. [Pop Eater]
  • Doug E. Fresh opened a restaurant in Harlem called Doug E.’s on 132nd and Adam Clayton Powell. It serves soul food and Caribbean cuisine. He wants his restaurant to give kids after-school jobs and provide work for people in the neighborhood. Good to see him using his celebrity in a positive way! [Eur Web]
  • Tiger Woods no longer holds the top ranking in golf. Lee Westwood is now the number one golfer in the world. Woods held the coveted position for 281 weeks — he had a good run. Is this a sign of Woods’ deteriorating brand? It wouldn’t be surprising if he recaptured the top spot in a year. [Fox News]
