• Ciara and rapper Future are engaged! The R&B singer revealed her excitement via Twitter this weekend. “Today has 2 be like one of the sweetest days of my life! #TheBestBirthdayEver,” she shared. “If I’m dreaming I don’t want to wake up… aahhhhh!!” Future surprised Ciara with a 15-carat engagement ring while celebrating her birthday in New York City. The two have reportedly been dating for over a year. This summer, Future made his feelings about Ciara clear during an interview with Hot 97. “This it. I don’t get into nothing to get out. • Chris Brown was arrested on felony assault charges this weekend. The young singer allegedly punched someone outside a Washington, D.C. hotel. According to TMZ, an argument between Brown and the unidentified man took place at 4:30 am Saturday night. Brown has been held in jail since the incident occurred. He will appear before a Magistrate this morning. This recent incident could be in violation of Brown’s probation. [TMZ]

• Supermodel Naomi Campbell is opening up about her anger issues. She shared her feelings on Britain’s The Jonathan Ross Show. “Anger is an emotion. There were things I had to deal with,” she explained. “You have to deal with it.” After detailing her battle with anger, Campbell became overwhelmed with emotion. “I’m crying, you made me cry!” [People]

• Darrell Wallace Jr. became the second Black driver to win a major NASCAR race! The winning event took place in Virginia over the weekend in the Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The last person do to that was Wendell Scott in Jacksonville, Florida in 1963. “This means everything,” said Wallace. “This is an emotional win for me, especially doing it in Wendell Scott’s backyard. I love coming here to Martinsville, it’s always good to me. It finally paid off. I think it’s my third trip here. I love coming here. The fans are great here.” [Huffington Post]
