• In honor of her 40th anniversary in the music business, legendary singer Chaka Khan will release a brand new gospel and jazz album in 2013. “Being in the studio makes me very happy,” said Khan in a statement. “I am so excited about the new music and the direction on this project. • Rihanna stumped fans over the weekend in a short game of Q&A. A fan wanted to know if she could be anyone for one day, who would it be? Rihanna replied that she’d like to be Blue Ivy. • President Obama will appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno this coming Wednesday. It will be the president’s fifth visit since he took office. The president’s appearance will also be his first after tonight’s third and final debate against Mitt Romney. [EURweb]

• Sheree Whitfield finally got what she’s been asking for. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star is settling her child support case with her former lover, Bob Whitfield. Bob will pay $75K in back child support before November 11. [TMZ]

• The weekend box office numbers are in! Tyler Perry’s newest action flick, Alex Cross, earned a whopping $11.7M over the weekend. It came in at number four. Paranormal Activity 4 earned the most with $30M. [Box Office Mojo]
