We hope you had a good weekend. Here’s all of the news in entertainment that you might’ve missed.

Bobbi Kristina’s family is praying for a miracle and they’re asking the public to join them. On Monday night, the family is having a “Shining Light for Healing” event to pray for her return to health. The public candlelight vigil will be held at the Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Georgia. “We are hoping that God will see fit to perform a miracle in her, so that He will get the glory,” a family member said. Kanye West may have stopped himself from taking Beck’s mic, but he held nothing back when telling the press how upset he was at the Album of the Year decision. “The Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they have to stop playing with us,” he said. “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé. At this point we’re tired of it.” Yeezy admitted that though he was angry, he didn’t interrupt Beck’s moment because of his daughter. “I’m not going to do nothing to put my daughter at risk but I am here to fight for creativity,” he said. Kanye wasn’t the only controversy at the Grammys. Some viewers weren’t too happy that Beyoncé was chosen to perform the Selma tribute instead of Ledisi, who co-starred in the film. But Ledisi, though disappointed, isn’t too upset about it. “I was able to portray and sing my version of the song, and now we have Beyoncé. Her generation will now know the song, so I’m a part of history,” Ledisi said. “I’d rather look at that instead of looking at is as a negative.” [Necole Bitchie]

Iconic singer Dionne Warwick was hospitalized after slipping and falling in her shower. Warwick is cousins with the late Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown, who is currently in the hospital after a bathtub incident. Warwick was released late last week. No word yet on her condition. [Jezebel]

After several fans accused InStyle magazine of lightening Kerry Washington’s skin for their March cover, the publication has finally issued a statement: “We have heard from those who have spoken concerned that Kerry’s skin town was lightened. While we did not digitally lighten Kerry’s skin tone, our cover lighting contributed to this concern. We are committed to ensuring that this experience has a positive influence on the ways in which we present all women going forward.” Kerry Washington herself supports InStyle‘s statement, tweeting “Beautiful statement. Thank you for opening this convo. Its an important 1 that needs to be had.” [Clutch]

Kimberly Elise is going back to school. Well, her character in the latest Lifetime movie is. Elise will star in Back to School Mom, a new Lifetime movie about a 41-year-old woman who goes back to college and befriends a classmate who turns out to be the son she gave up 20 years earlier. Back to School Mom premieres this Valentine’s Day, February 14. [Indie Wire]

You may know all of N.W. A.’s hit songs, but their true story has yet to be told. We have your first look at the group’s upcoming biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Check out the first official trailer right here.
