Chuck Berry: 1950’s Home Deemed a Treasure

Rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Chuck Berry’s home, where he recorded hit songs “Johnny B. Goode” and “Maybelline,” is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places in St. Louis, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Berry, now 82, lived in the basement from 1950-1958 with his wife and daughter and rented out the first floor.
