Christina Milian and The-Dream have decided to call it quits. “Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful,” The-Dream’s representative told UsMagazine. “The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.” In a recent interview with ESSENCE.com, The-Dream denied rumors that he and Milian were having marital problems, saying, “The rumors are not true and it really boils my blood. Christina and I are cool.” The statement comes after images of The-Dream canoodling with his assistant Melissa Santiago in the Caribbean began circulating on the internet. Milian and Nash got engaged just a year ago in July 2009 and eloped in Las Vegas in September 2009 and had a second wedding ceremony in Rome in December 2009.
