For Fall 2011, the designer has positioned his delicate heels in the hands, laps and baskets of some of history’s most intriguing ladies. Chief among them is the gorgeous Black beauty of “Portrait d’une negresse” fame.
The painting, created in 1800 by Marie-Guillemine Benoist, features an African woman reclining in a chair with an exposed breast. Louboutin’s updated version of the photo features the same woman in a similar pose, but this time holding a sultry Louboutin bootie. Are you loving the photo?
