Chrisette Michele isn’t enjoying her new role as a reality TV star.

The singer stars on season two of TV One’s R&B Divas LA (along side fellow divas Chanté Moore, Lil Mo, Leela James, Claudette Ortiz, and Michel’le) and although the show is only four episodes into it’s 10-episode season, Michele says she’s already regretting her choice to join the cast.

“This negativity is tragic and I can’t transfer these vibes to my Art,” she wrote in an open letter posted on Instagram.

“Maybe reality was a mistake. Maybe I should stay in my comfortable cave where I’m only loved,” she adds. “Some people aren’t meant to share their personality. Maybe I’m one of those people. One of those who are protected by the Art… I won’t speak negativity against any one on the show in any further interviews. I won’t speak the name of people who quell my light. I can’t participate in brokenness. Healing is my ambition. Light is my nourishment.”

The singer is currently in the studio working on new music and the launch of a new website focusing on art, beauty and fashion.
