Chris Rock Calms a Pregnant Woman in Labor at Mall

Laughter can be a cure-all and if you’re Chris Rock, you can even help a woman in labor calm her nerves. The comedian recently rescued a mom-to-be who went into labor while shopping in New Jersey. Rock, who has two kids with wife Malaak, was shopping at Neiman Marcus in the Garden State Plaza mall when the woman’s water broke a few feet away from him. The 45-year-old funnyman calmed the woman — and a crowd of concerned shoppers — with a few jokes until an ambulance was called. “He was making the crowd and the woman in labor laugh,” an eyewitness tells Us Magazine. “She recognized who he was immediately and he stayed there until the paramedics took her away.” Has laughter gotten you through tough situations?
