Barbershop: The Next Cut star Cedric the Entertainer is sometimes referred to as another comedian.
In a visit to Huffington Post Live, Cedric said that he is mistaken by fans as the late great Bernie Mac.

“I often get mixed up with Bernie Mac,” he said. “I don’t know [why], he was taller than I was. I guess because we were both on the Kings of Comedy, people kind of interchange us and never quite knew which one was which.”

Mac passed away from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease that affects the lungs and lymph glands, in 2008.
