California state officials recently issued a warning to residents about what to expect this tax season, according to the LATimes.com. With a little more than a month’s worth of cash left in the state treasury, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and lawmakers are trying to figure out how they’ll issue tax refunds and student grants to millions of Californians. State Controller John Chiang said that his office may begin issuing IOU’s if the governor and lawmakers can’t come up with a solution toward their budgetary problems.
