After Beyonce rocked this year’s Super Bowl halftime show with a performance talked about around the world, she left some large stilettos to fill, and it looks like Grammy-award winning singer Bruno Mars will be the first to try.
Although no official announcement has been made, an anonymous source, said to be closely connected to the NFL, told The Associated Press that Mars has landed the highly coveted gig for the 2013 Super Bowl. An official announcement is rumored to be coming soon.
The Super Bowl will take place on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Hawaiian singer is said to have beat out local-area talents like Jay-Z and Bon Jovi for the job.
