Brooklyn officials arrested six people on trademark counterfeiting charges after uncovering a $20 million dollar counterfeit ring on April 24, according to the Associated Press. The bust took place in a self-storage warehouse located in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn. Feds seized fake Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada and Coach handbags, fake jeans and fake sneakers smuggled from China. This comes after a two-year long investigation involving the district attorney’s office, state police, the Waterfront Commission and New York Police Department officers. —LB
