Actress and singer Brandy reached a settlement with Awatef Aboudihaj’s two children as a result of Aboudihaj’s death in the 2006 car accident involving the former “Moesha” star, according to E!Online. The children, who are now teens, were in the car at the time and will each receive $300,000. Their father turned down a $1.2 million settlement offer as well. Brandy was looking at charges of manslaughter but prosecutors chose not to press charges because of a lack of evidence that she caused the crash. -WLW
