Bobby Brown’s lawyer entered a not guilty plea for the singer on Friday, reports CBS.
Brown was arrested last month on suspicion of DUI after police pulled him over for driving erratically. Police discovered a strong alcoholic odor coming from the car. He was then asked to perform a sobriety test. The results from the test are unknown.
The singer also faces charges for driving with a suspended license as well as not having an ignition-locking device installed. A hearing for Brown’s case was set for December 13.
Brown is no stranger to DUI charges and legal issues. He was arrested for driving under the influence in March in Los Angeles and plead no contest to charges. He entered rehab in August and released himself before his 90-day treatment was complete.
It’s been a year full of ups and downs for the troubled singer. His ex-wife Whitney Houston suddenly passed away in February. Brown also married fianceé Alicia Etheredge in Hawaii in June.
