Bobby Brown and Pat Houston have been appointed co-guardians of 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown. Although the Brown and Houston families haven’t always gotten along, according to a statement they are now “working harmoniously” when it comes to caring for Bobbi Kristina who has been hospitalized since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home in January.
“We are delighted to inform the public that the court has appointed Bobby Brown and Pat Houston as co-guardians of Bobbi Kristina Brown (‘Krissi’),” David Long-Daniel (Pat Houston and Cissy Houston’s counsel) and Christopher Brown (Bobby Brown’s counsel) confirmed to PEOPLE in a joint statement. “Both Mr. Brown and Ms. Houston are jointly responsible for decisions related to Krissi’s care and medical needs.”
The statement also says lawyer Bedelia Hargrove was appointed conservator to oversee Bobbi Kristina’s assets, including her legal claims and rights.
The ailing daughter of the late Whitney Houston remains on life support at an Atlanta rehab facility, where she was transferred two months ago.
