Entrepreneur and majority-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, Bob Johnson is out to launch a new cable network for minorities and is looking for a fellow billionaire to come on board, according to Reed Business Information. Johnson feels there is a need for more diverse programming for people of color and has a proposal with Ion Television to create Urban TV. He is lobbying the Federal Communications Commission to allow minority investors to buy ownership with the proposed station in hopes of finding a partner with deep enough pockets to see the project come to fruition.-CJ
