The wait is finally over for what the networks have in store for the fall TV season. Fox network announced its new lineup, including two new shows starring African-Americans. See who’s on air this fall on Fox:
Comedian (and new mom) Wanda Sykes gets her own self-titled laughfest, airing on Saturday nights.
Michael Strahan takes on a leading role in the new series “Brothers” as a down-on-his-luck former football star who moves back home with family. Costarring Daryl “Chill” Mitchell (“House Party”), CCH Pounder (“The Shield”) and Carl Weathers (“Rocky”), the comedic series will air on Fridays.
The “Family Guy” spin-off, “The Cleveland Show,” finds its home on Sunday nights with voiceovers by Sanaa Lathan (“The Family That Preys”), Regan-Gomez Preston (“The Parent ‘Hood”), and voice actor Kevin Michael Richardson (“American Dad!”). This much-anticipated animated series has already been picked up for a second season.
In other Fox cast news, Chi McBride (“Boston Public”) joins the dramatic thriller series “Human Target.”
