Four Black Supermodels Strike a Pose in new Brandon Maxwell Campaign

As diversity in the fashion industry continues to be a hot button topic, so it’s always great to see designers who take it upon themselves to highlight beautiful brown faces.

Designer and stylist to Lady Gaga, Brandon Maxwell released his first campaign via Instagram yesterday featuring several models — including brown beauties Riley Montana, Herieth Paul, Maria Borges and Leila Nda.

Maxwell, who shot the campaign and produced the accompanying video himself, used sleek, sharp lines and timeless silhouettes for his collection.

The video features the models climbing into a plush king-sized bed draped in his looks while voicemail messages he received from family members following his Fall 2016 show play in the background.
