Harlem Holi-Pop, a two-day concept shop is set to open at RAW Space art gallery located in Harlem by make-up artist Melanie Harris and celebrity fashion stylist Carlton Jones. The two have teamed up to host a shopping event this Saturday and Sunday featuring a range of clothing, accessories and beauty products including Project Runway Season 9 winner, Anya Ayoung Chee and finalist Kimberly Goldson among a host of artisans and vendors from Harlem.
The pop-up, just blocks away from the Apollo, invites guests to shop from 12pm – 8pm over cocktails and music. The icing on the cake? A portion of the proceeds from sales will benefit Alpha Workshops, a non-profit providing jobs to HIV-positive individuals. So get a little guilt-free shopping done this weekend amidst the retail madness.
