The University of Massachusetts at Amherst has cut ties with Bill Cosby amid rising sexual assault allegations, The Washington Post reports.

Cosby was awarded a doctorate from the University of Massachusetts and formerly served as an honorary co-chair for the University’s $300 million fundraising campaign until he was asked to resign. Cosby willingly stepped down, according to The Post.

“He no longer has any affiliation with the campaign nor does he serve in any other capacity for the university,” said Ed Blaguszewski, executive director of media relations for the university.

Other colleges and universities have also decided to end their relationships with Cosby. According to The Boston Globe, Berklee College of Music, where Cosby received an honorary degree, is no longer awarding a scholarship in his name and high Point University in North Carolina removed him from their national board of advisers.

This is the latest blow to Cosby’s legacy. Earlier this month, NBC canceled his upcoming comedy series and Netflix postponed his Thanksgiving comedy special as new rape allegations surfaced.
