Mrs. Obama isn’t the only wife in the District accepting graduation commencement invitations. Dr. Jill Biden, the wife of Vice President Joe Biden, will deliver this year’s commencement address at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York. Mrs. Biden will address graduates, family members, and faculty at the ceremony on June 12. An educator for nearly 30 years, she has taught English in community colleges for the past 15 years. She presently teaches English courses at a community college near Washington, D.C.–BB
