Beyonce’s baby announcement at the VMAs did more than break a Twitter record, it’s also boosting her album sales.

According to MTV, Bey’s performance of ‘Love on Top’ at the VMAs pushed the song into the iTunes Top 5, and returned her album, ‘4’ to the top 10 of the charts.

To date, sales for ‘4’ have been Beyonce’s lowest, selling less than 700,000 copies since it was released in June. Not bad for most artists, but not great for Beyonce, whose debut album, “Dangerously in Love” sold 4.6 million copies.

Now things are looking up for the fab mom-to-be’s album sales. Congrats again!
