Beyonce dishes on "4" album and what she really thinks of her last two.
Beyonce isn’t keeping any secrets these days.
After recently dishing on her own insecurities (yes, even killer Bey has them), the singer’s now opened up about her career, saying her last two albums were good but not entirely “classic.”
With 15 years in the game, she said she’s come a long way since Sasha Fierce and is thrilled critics have really acknowledged her “bravery” in music.
“What I wanted to do was kind of go against the grain and try to put chords, and bridges, and lyrics, and music back on the radio and back on albums,” Beyonce told Access Hollywood. “I’m not sure. I think my first album was a classic album — the other two were great but I didn’t focus on that. I focused more on the singles — and this time I said ‘let me take it back to when people just listened from beginning to end.'”
The daring diva said she plans to chart new creative territory and hopes to even take home album of the year. Think it’s possible? Is “4” rave-worthy? Check out the clip above for Bey’s take.
