Beyonce Dines with Jay-Z in NYC for New Year's Eve

While millions of party goers sipped champagne at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, superstar couple Beyonce and Jay-Z decided to ring 2012 sans the bubbly. That’s because contrary to the internet rumors gone wild, Beyonce is still very pregnant with the pair’s first child.

According to the New York Daily News, Beyonce and her baby bump was spotted having a quiet New Year’s Eve dinner with her hip-hop hubby at Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn. At around 11:30 pm on Saturday, the popular blog Food Republic sent notice of the couple’s night out by tweeting, “Well, if you must know… Jay-Z and Beyonce celebrating NYE at Buttermilk Channel right now.”

Earlier in the day, Jay-Z caught a quick flight to Kentucky to watch his favorite college basketball team, the Kentucky Wildcats, in their biggest game of the year against the Louisville Cardinals. Jay’s Kentucky getaway was perhaps the first indication that Beyonce hadn’t given birth, as the blogosphere quickly began to doubt that he’d leave his leading lady back in New York if she’d in fact just delivered a newborn.

It looks like we’ll have to wait just a little while longer to offer our congrats on the arrival of baby Jayonce.
