The New Hampshire primaries are underway, and political pundits expect Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump to come out victorious.

No Color, Some Flavor in the ABC News Run-Up to a Pivotal Primary

The expected results differ drastically from last week’s Iowa caucuses, in which Republican hopeful Ted Cruz beat Trump, and Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton narrowly surpassed Sanders. However, as of earlier this afternoon, a CNN ticker has Cruz, John Kasich and Trump tied at 24 percent, while Clinton trails Sanders, 32 to 61.

Pending the results of the primaries, three of the remaining nine GOP candidates could drop out from the race. Experts say that another loss for John Kasich, Chris Christie and Jeb Bush could be detrimental to the donations they receive, effectively ending their campaigns.

Polls close tonight at 7 p.m. ET. The next primaries will take place later this month in South Carolina.
