Stevie Wonder’s music continues to influence generation after generation of new talent and a group of students from Berklee College of Music recently gave an impressive show of the impact he’s had on them.
“Ptich Slapped” is Berklee’s talented co-ed a cappella group known for their impressive performances, perfected harmonies and distinguished reputation. Founded in 2006, the group has won numerous competitions and was also featured on season two of NBC’s “The Sing Off.”
Award-winning a cappella guru Deke Sharon, who served as producer for the Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack and current vocal coach on Lifetime’s “Pitch Slapped” reality series, recently had the Berklee Pitch Slapped team visit his home to show off their skills.
Per usual, they rose to the occasion in stunning fashion.
Shannon shared this video of the group performing an a cappella rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish” during their visit and he was just as amazed as everyone else who’s watched it so far.
The video has since gone viral with over 2 million views and over 45,000 likes on Facebook.
We can’t stop watching!
