Barack Obama Visits D.C. Children's Hospital In Santa Cap

Barack Obama Visits D.C. Children's Hospital In Santa Cap
By Yesha Callahan · Updated October 23, 2020
Barack Obama broke out his Santa cap and put smiles on the faces of kids during a visit to Washington, D.C.’s Children’s National Hospital on Wednesday. With a hearty “ho ho ho,” the former president used his jovial spirit and charisma to spread some holiday cheer. “My reindeer they were stuck in some snow,” he told the kids. “But I just wanted to make sure that I made the trip and I had a chance to see all of you guys.”

Thank you @BarackObama for making our patients’ day so much brighter. Your surprise warmed our hallways and put smiles on everyone’s faces! Our patients loved your company…and your gifts! https://t.co/bswxSrA4sQ ❤️ #HolidaysAtChildrens #ObamaAndKids pic.twitter.com/qii53UbSRS

During his visit, Obama sat with families and siblings of patients as he handed out presents. Obama’s last visit to the hospital was in 2014, while he was president.
