WNBA star player Candace Parker gave birth to a baby girl today, May 13, at 11:29 A.M. It is the first child for the Los Angeles Sparks MVP and her husband, Shelden Williams of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Their daughter weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces and 20 inches in length. Parker plans to rejoin the Sparks once she has received clearance from her physician.—BB
