Although the recent sexual exploits of well-known men like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dominique Strauss-Kahn have been hot topics, when it comes to cheating, powerful women behave badly too, according to a new study.
Known as “Alpha Adulterers” these women are highly successful, married, and on the hunt for an after-hours fling.
For them the power is an aphrodisiac and it’s about the thrill of the prowl.
The findings revealed a relationship between how powerful a woman feels she is and the likelihood that she’ll be unfaithful to her spouse. Like their alpha male counterparts, many of these women admit to feeling zero guilt over their affairs, and in some cases even entitled to them. The study suggests that contrary to common belief professional women aren’t any more moral than males, just increasingly more confident.
