With this sudden interest, it was only a matter of time before Johnnie Cochran got attention too.
Early Johnnie Cochran Case Gets Adapted for the Big Screen
Anthony Mackie will play Cochran in the untitled project, which will focus on police brutality in 1981. The director of Mandela: The Long Walk To Freedom, Justin Chadwick, is making a deal to helm the project.
A release date hasn’t been set as the film is currently still in development.
