Yesterday the red carpet was on fire as celebrities flocked to the 2011 American Music Awards for a night of great music and great performances.
Jennifer Hudson, Miguel, John Legend and others attended the packed show.
Chris Brown performed his latest single, “All Back,” while Jennifer Lopez sang “Until It Beats No More.” Nicki Minaj dazzled the crowd with a medley of her hits that left the everyone wanting more. On top of that, Mary J. Blige performed “Mr. Wrong” from her new album, “My Life II” — in stores this week.
It was no surprise that Rihanna won the AMA for Favorite Album of the Year. Usher picked up an award for Favorite Male Artist while Beyonce won Favorite Female Artist.
But rapper Nicki Minaj scored one of the top honors of the night taking home two awards; one for Favorite Hip Hop Artist and Favorite Hip Hop Album.
It was a night to remember!
