“When I walked down [the aisle] and saw him, I could barely hold myself together. It was so beautiful — just about he and I and our love. The wedding was one of the best days of my life,” she told People.
The two celebrate their one year anniversary this coming July 31st and admits married life is fabulous. “[Being married] is so fly. There’s something great about feeling at peace and ease with your partner and knowing you understand each other. I really enjoy that friendship.”
It’s so refreshing to see a couple deeply in love and committed to their relationship. Furthermore, it’s more exciting to see a couple focus on friendship first. “There are so many similarities between us, it’s just mind-blowing. It’s really cool to have met my equal,” says Alicia.
Just last October Alicia and Swizz welcomed baby Egypt — whom the world finally saw for the first time a few weeks ago.
We enjoy seeing their love blossom and bloom. We wish them many more years of happiness.
