Five months after undergoing vocal chord surgery, Adele is set to make her return to the stage at this year’s Grammy awards, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“I’m immensely proud to have been asked to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards,” she said in a statement. “It’s an absolute honor to be included in such a night, and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all.”

Adele is nominated for six Grammy awards including Record of the Year for “Rolling in the Deep” and Album of the Year for her sophomore album, “21.”

The blue-eyed soul singer was recently named Billboard’s top artist of 2011 selling more than 4.8M copies of her sophomore album, “21.” The album spent 17 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 — longer than any album since Whitney Houston’s “The Bodyguard,” which spent 20 weeks at number one in 1992.
