Fashion retailer Abercrombie and Fitch is no stranger to controversy. Remember earlier in the millennium when A&F was in the hot seat for lack of diversity? Now the company is causing outrage for marketing a push-up bikini top to young girls…
According to CNN and ABC News, www.abercrombiekids.com — Abercrombie’s children’s line — featured a “push up triangle” bikini top. The wording on the same top has now been changed to “striped triangle,” but the item still exists on the site.
Many internet users are up in arms, calling the push-up bikini another piece of evidence that little girls are being forced to grown up too soon. Do you agree?
