Bridgeport, Connecticut, will honor G-Unit frontman Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson with a key to the city next month and has also sanctioned it as “Curtis Jackson Day.” The Queens native filmed the 2008 drama “Righteous Kill” (currently in theaters) in Connecticut with veteran actors Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Jackson owns a 19-bedroom house in the town of Farmington, Connecticut.
The hip-hop tycoon doesn’t have anything extravagant planned for the occasion. “I’d probably just have a nice picnic,” he told press. “But everybody should have a block party—with just my music being played.” 50 Cent is set to release his next album, “Before I Self Destruct,” in December and plans to direct a movie of the same title.
