Three men have been arrested in connection to the Minneapolis shooting that wounded five people.

Reuters reports that three men, ages 21, 23, 26, all white, were apprehended by authorities on Tuesday after firing into a crowd of people Monday evening protesting the shooting death of Jamar Clark.

Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges said that their arrests are an “effort to bring any and all those responsible to justice.”

Clark, 24, was shot November 15 by a police officer. Protests erupted when an eyewitness stated that Clark was unarmed and handcuffed “with his arms behind his back and lying on the ground” at the time of the shooting.

FBI spokesperson, Kyle Loven, said that the Bureau is aware of the incident and while many have speculated that the incident may be investigated as a hate crime, he gave no comment on what federal action will be taken against the assailants.
