Rashidah met her future husband Drew while vacationing with friends in Martha’s Vineyard during the 4th of July. “Drew and his friends approached my best friend Blake and I and we all connected instantly,” she recalls. “We had many friends and acquaintances in common and lived in the same neighborhood in NYC. We ended up spending the entire week together hanging on the beach, partying with friends and enjoying the vineyard. It felt like a teenage summer romance story.” Their love was meant to be. After throwing Rashidah off by not proposing during a romantic Italian getaway, Drew proposed at the exact same table at the restaurant where they first met in Martha’s Vineyard. Aww!
