Stacie Lanita Hill and Theodore Oliver Anderson, II, became husband and wife on January 24, 2009. The loving ceremony and reception was attended by 350 guests in the heart of Dallas, Texas, the couple’s hometown.

After three years of courting, Theo, as Stacie affectionately calls him, proposed to his girlfriend at the airport where he normally dropped her off for her regular business trips.
“I flew home one weekend and Theo picked me up from the airport like he normally did when I flew home,” recalls Stacie. “This time Theo drove right by me so that he could pull over and park. As I opened my mouth to ask why he drove by me, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!”

“Donnie and his staff were so nice. You definitely need a planner, regardless of your budget!” exclaims the newlywed.

The loving pair share a sentimental moment during their wedding reception. While the newlyweds have only been married five months, they have endured their share of challenges. In the spring of 2007, Theo was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
“Theo shocked his neurosurgeons with his speedy recovery (three weeks instead of the usual six months) and he is now 100 percent. It was our faith in God and the prayers of loved ones that carried us through,” explains Stacie.
“It was very important for me to include my sorority in my reception. My mom and my aunt are members of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., also, so it was important for all of us to sing the traditional sweetheart song,” says Stacie.
