Right Under Her Nose
Sometimes love can be right under your nose, but it takes a little help to find it. In 2008 Roshal was attending Emory Law School in Atlanta while Zwade was right next door enrolled in Emory Medical School. They were soul mates in the same vicinity who had yet to cross paths. Thankfully, their mutual friend Colin came to the rescue. Colin and Zwade were best friends and he and Roshal had attended college together but lost touch over the years. Roshal and Colin bumped into each other at a local mall. (Colin just happened to be in town visiting Zwade!) They agreed to have dinner and Colin told Roshal that the more she talked, the more he thought she’d be a perfect match for Zwade. He introduced them and a beautiful friendship was born. When they realized they’d been right next door the entire time and hadn’t met, they were even more thankful to Colin for the introduction.
Garden Of Love
Zwade went all out for his ladylove Roshal when he was ready to ask for her hand in marriage. He took her to the Botanical Gardens and ushered her onto a private patio. They were greeted by a waiter with champagne and two of Zwade’s friends playing Bach’s “Air On G” on the cello and violin. Suddenly all of their friends and family members began to appear one-by-one. (Her mom even flew in from Jamaica!) “I started crying,” she recalls. “He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and through my tears, I managed to say yes. I was so happy in that moment; words can hardly express just how much.”
