“I honestly believe God created Tracy for me,” says happy bride Raven. “Everything I’m not, he is. He truly treats me like his queen, and who wouldn’t want to spend the rest of their life with their best friend? He is everything and more than I ever prayed for in a man.”
On the morning of her wedding, Raven struck a pose with her pretty-in-pink bridesmaids.

“I always knew I wanted to wear my hair to the side,” says the bride. “My stylist took my vision and made it their own.”
“What I love most about Tracy is his drive and his selflessness, he is the definition of a great husband, son, brother, and friend,” says Raven.
“The bridesmaids wore Two Birds dresses,” says Raven. “When I saw the rose water color online I fell in love; it was the exact blush pink I was looking for. We decided to have a bridesmaid weekend where we all traveled to DC and when they tried them on they loved them as well. They accentuated everyone’s body type so well and the color looked great on everyone’s skin tone.”
Raven and her bridesmaids paused for a moment of thought and prayer.
“My bouquet was a mixture of peonies and quicksand roses,” says the bride. “I’m not a fan of bright colors so the florist did an awesome job on giving me the look I was going for.”
“I had a Vera Wang gown,” says Raven. “I went dress-shopping once when my mother came to town and I thought I found ‘the one,’ but then I decided to try another boutique with a friend in Dallas, and as soon as I tried this dress on, my friend and the sales girls said, that was it.”
“I got offered a promotion in Dallas where Tracy is from had recently moved back to, and I had to make the difficult decision to leave my family behind, and I’m really close to them,” says Raven. “He was so patient and understanding and he made my move seamless. He even flew to D.C. to drive me all the way back.”
Tracy wore one seriously share custom made suit for his big moment at the altar with his bride.
Raven sure knew how to work her trumpet-style dress. She looked fierce!
“The groomsmen purchased their tuxes from Jos A. Banks,” says Raven. “Tracy wanted the groomsman suits to look custom as well, you can’t always get that look when you rent them.”

“I felt so beautiful and so blessed!” says the bride.

“From the moment we met I knew she was special,” Tracy tells us. Aww!
“You look forward to the day for so long, imagining how it will go that when it comes its almost surreal,” Raven says. “It was definitely all I ever dreamed of!”
“Raven is an incredible woman and a complete package,” says Tracy. “She’s smart, beautiful and goofy. I honestly believe God made her just for me.”
“We live in Dallas, so picking a venue in Maryland was a bit challenging,” Raven admits. “We had my mother go and visit a few places and when she came across the The Hotel at Arundel she called me and said, ‘I found it, this place is so you.’”
Raven’s leading man received a royal welcome when it was time to walk down the aisle.
“We started out with a budget, however, we had to adjust very quickly once we learned how expensive everything was,” says Raven. “Tracy really surprised me with how well he was able to negotiate with all of our vendors.”
Tracy had no plans to miss his big moment with beautiful bride Raven, but just in case he had any last minute second thoughts, the bride had a master plan. We love that sign!
Raven’s little cousins warmed up the crowd for her big arrival. How cute is this?
“My father walked me down the aisle to a vocalist singing John Legend’s ‘All Of Me,’” says Raven. “My father was my first love so I wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
Raven and Tracy were married by Reverend Ostein Truitt, the pastor of the church she grew up in.
“I was a nervous wreck before I got to the altar,” Raven admits. “However, once I looked into his eyes, he smiled, grabbed my hands and it all went away. I felt at peace.” The couple exchanged traditional vows.
A perfect shot of a perfect bunch. “Together, I feel like we cannot lose,” says Tracy.
“I had a Vera Wang cathedral length veil, originally I didn’t want to wear a veil however my mom begged and begged me to wear a floor length veil and eventually I caved,” says Raven. “I’m glad I listened to her. It was beautiful!”
“When I met Tracy, I was in a place where I had just learned how to make me happy,” says Raven. “I guess what they say is true when you stop looking for love, it will find you.”
“I knew love was somewhere in my future, but it was the last thing on my mind and I definitely didn’t think it would happen during that that time in my life,” says Tracy. “So the day that Raven stepped in my life it was unexpected. I just wanted to have fun and enjoy what South Beach had to offer. But after that long night on the beach with her I knew I met someone special that could be around for a long time.”
“We connected instantly on so many levels, it was as if we knew each other in another life,” says Tracy,
Everything was pretty in pink during Raven and Tracy’s big day, including their elegant reception king’s tables.
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. McQueen! The couple made their grand entrance while playing a remix of Jay-Z’s “Public Service Announcement.”
Raven and Tracy tell us that the overall theme of their wedding day was love. Isn’t that sweet?

Tracy’s brothers had his back and were there to help him bring in the next phase of his life with a bang.
