Bridal Bliss: Kennie And Tiffani's Elegant Virginia Wedding Will Make You Swoon

“I thought that I was planning my husband’s surprise birthday party with his sister but the surprise was on me,” recalled Tiffani of how Kenni proposed. “I was very resistant to her suggestions because details were constantly being changed from what I suggested and I must admit I got very frustrated and thought about canceling it. I chatted with my Matron of Honor who insisted that I just go with the flow. Our closest family and friends at BRIO Tuscan Grille in Stony Point surrounded us.  I was waiting for him to arrive so we could all yell ‘Surprise!’ but instead he came from the back singing one of his favorite songs, “Share My Life” by Kem, with my ring on a silver platter. I needed a spatula to pick my face up off the floor. He popped the big question and, of course, I said YES. They got me and I learned one on the most important lessons in life and that’s to yield and go with the flow.”

“I felt like a princess and the most beautiful bride in the world,” said Tiffani. “It was all that I dreamed it would be.”

“I purchased one dress and after having it for a couple of weeks, I went back and looked at it and it just was not the one,” revealed Tiffani. “I bought a second dress and as soon as I put it on I did not want to take it off. It was an Alfred Angelo dress from their Disney collection.”

“Priceless! It was all that I dreamed of,” said Kennie of being a groom.

“My shoes were a DSW find for $18 after my coupon,” said the bride. Score!

“I knew from pictures that I wanted a simple half up, half down pin up style,” said the bride of how she wore her hair on her wedding day. It was obviously a beautiful choice!

“I prayed after our date on Valentine’s day and asked the Lord to immediately remove him out of my life if he wasn’t The One,” recalled the bride. “He didn’t go anywhere and we continued to go on a number of dates so that was all of the confirmation that I needed.”

“I would describe my husband as the man that God tailor made just for me,” said Tiffani. “God knew exactly what type of man that I needed and my husband is truly a blessing.”

“I describe my wife as being strong, successful and courageous,” said the groom.

“I can’t really describe it other than that I was overwhelmed with joy,” said the groom of seeing his bride for the first time on their wedding day.

“We have an awesome teamwork and she has God-fearing heart,” said Kennie of what he loves most about Tiffani.

“I knew at that moment I was about to become his wife and our journey as a married couple was about to begin,” said the bride of being at the altar with Kennie.

They did it!

“He’s God-fearing, my confidant, my best friend, and most of all, we make a great power team,” said Tiffani.

It’s clear that the bride and groom were surrounded by nothing but love and good vibes on their wedding day!

“When Kennie proposed, I really don’t know how to describe how I felt, but if I had to simply put it, I would say surprised and honored to be the future Mrs. Howard,” the bride shared.

Kennie and Tiffani shared their first dance as husband and wife to the sound of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.”

“We chose a four-layer cake (each layer was a different flavor) that included handcrafted sugar flowers with brooches and roman numerals of our wedding date,” said the bride. “The cake was such a hit we ended up cutting our top layer at the wedding.”

There’s nothing like a sweet slice of wedding cake!
