Bridal Bliss: Justin And Stephanie's Richmond Wedding Was Where Vintage Met Glam

On their fourth anniversary, Justin asked for Stephanie’s hand in marriage after a celebratory dinner. “The waiter came over to the table and asked if we were interested in checking out the view from the rooftop. Stepping off the elevator I was amazed how gorgeous the view was at night. Justin and I held hands talking about checking things off our bucket list then next thing I know Justin was down on one knee. I literally froze, looked up to the sky and started crying my eyes out saying “Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh. Is this really happening to me? Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh! Is this my ring?” Justin had the biggest smile on his face, told me that he loved me with all his heart and said ‘hey fiancée’. Our waiter captured the moments and I couldn’t wait to call my family and friends. I kept saying thank you God for sending me such a perfect man. Justin made me the happiest woman alive.”

“The dress was gorgeous and it fit my personality,” the bride shared. “It was so elegant. It had so much bling and the bottom was just everything. I cou , then I showed Justin three dresses and he selected the one I had already fallen in love with. It was the first and only dress I tried on.”

Days up until she and Justin’s wedding, the bride said that things were hectic but when all was said and done, the day, in her words were “magical.” Nothing beats that!

“Being a groom was a whirlwind,” Justin revealed. “So many mixtures of emotions from joy, to stress to amazement. It was an eventful experience but the wedding day made it all worth it. “

“Getting ready with my girls was so much fun,” Stephanie shared. “Seeing them getting all glammed up and feeling beautiful made me smile.”

“He’s imperfectly perfect,” said Stephanie of Justin. “He is so hardworking and loves his family. I sometimes pinch him because he doesn’t seem real. But God creates some people extra special!”

“Her love for God, her smile, sense of humor, loving heart and passion for family,” said Justin of Stephanie.

The honor of walking the bride down the aisle to Justin went to Stephanie’s mother. “My mom was in a car accident a few years ago and her body hasn’t been the same since. She had surgery one month before the wedding and was bedridden, confined to a wheelchair and I didn’t think she was going to be able to give me away. But she was so determined to walk me down the aisle. When the doors open she was standing there with her cane crying her eyes out. I was so proud of her.”

“I had already been crying since before I walked down the aisle, her beauty amazed me and it was hard to hold back tears of joy,” said Justin.

“He’s finally mine,” the bride said of how she felt after she and tied tied the knot. “My hero who has been my best friend for years is about to be my husband. I felt joy, excitement, greatfulness and extremely blessed to have gone through so much with one person and come out stronger than ever. I felt that God had answered all my prayers. I was so ready to embark this journey as husband and wife.”

“A calm had come over me I knew that everything we stressed about didn’t compare to the feeling I had at the moment,” said Justin of being at the altar.

“I love Stephanie with all of my heart and wouldn’t want to be with anyone else,” said the groom.

Introducing happily ever after!

“He loves me for who I am,” said the bride of what she loves most about her groom. “Justin makes me smile and laugh all the time. He’s so respectful and has the biggest heart. He also has a love for helping the youth in sports and the determination to succeed in everything.”

For her bridesmaid’s attire, Stephanie chose classy and elegant black floor length gowns. Great choice!

“I said yes because he’s absolutely perfect,” said the bride. “He loves me for who I am not what I will become.”

“I knew she was the one when I first laid eyes on her,” said Justin. “I had no idea of how our story would unfold, but I knew she was the one.”

“I knew he was the one every time I needed a friend he would always be there without me asking him to be,” the bride shared. “His optimism, encouraging and loving spirit opened my eyes to see that love was staring me in my face.”

When Justin first saw Stephanie at a basketball game, he knew she was the one. After they met however, Stephanie, friend-zoned him until love took over. Now, they’ve started on their road to forever.

For their first dance as husband and wife, Stephanie and Justin danced to both Eric Benét and Tamia’s “Spend My Life With You,” and “Best of Me” by Anthony Hamilton.

“I wanted our wedding cake to reflect wedding style which was vintage glam,” the bride shared. Mission accomplished!

“Three tiered red velvet and vanilla cake designed with ruffles at the bottom and gold sequins at the top,” said Stephanie.

“He is everything a man should be and I couldn’t be more thankful that God has blessed me with him,” Stephanie gushed. “Once we were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Williams—we were lit!”

“Yes I did think I would find true love but I didn’t think it would be right in front of my face the entire time,” Stephanie shared. “It felt amazing know God placed this handsome man on earth for me.

“I married my hero, our wedding day was magical and we had the time of our lives,” said Stephanie.
